You tell us what happened
The form asks what caused the damage, whether water is still coming in, your ZIP, the property type, timing, whether you plan an insurance claim, and how to reach you. That's what a restoration company needs to respond properly.
We route it to a company that serves your ZIP
Your request goes to an independent, locally operating restoration company in the Copperline network that covers your area. Requests with water still coming in are routed first.
The company contacts you
They confirm the details and arrange an inspection. You're under no obligation to hire them.
They inspect, quote, dry and document
The company you choose performs the work — extraction, drying with moisture readings, cleanup and repairs — and can document everything for your insurer.
Before you sign anything
- Ask for the company's Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) license number and look it up at roc.az.gov (opens in a new tab)
- Ask for proof of liability insurance
- Get a written scope of work and ask how drying will be measured
- Ask whether they'll bill your insurer directly and what you'll owe
- Read the work authorization before signing — especially any assignment of benefits
Questions about the service
How does Copperline make money?
Participating restoration companies pay for introductions to property owners who request help. You pay nothing to Copperline. The company you hire quotes and bills its own work — often to your insurer.
How many companies will contact me?
Usually one. If the first company can't respond in time, the request may go to another company in the network — never more than three, as stated in the consent on the form.
Does Copperline check the companies?
Companies agree to hold the Arizona licensing their work requires and to carry insurance. Copperline doesn't inspect their work, so verify the ROC license at roc.az.gov and ask for proof of insurance before signing anything.
What if my ZIP isn't covered?
We'll tell you. We only route requests where a participating company serves the area — we don't pass requests to companies outside your area.
